Hello everyone! 😊
I'm Keko from the online staff.
In Uji, Kyoto, there are so many famous spots that you might find it hard to decide where to go today.
One of the renowned temples is the Phoenix Hall of Byodoin Temple, designated as a national treasure, founded in 1052 by Fujiwara no Yorimichi in Uji, Kyoto. It's even featured on Japan's 10-yen coin and attracts numerous visitors throughout the year.
I remember sketching it in my notebook as a child.
It's a place I make sure to visit several times every year. Whether it's during cherry blossom season, wisteria season, or autumn foliage season, I always feel drawn to visit during each season.
Right now, it's the season of beautiful wisteria flowers like Dharma Fuji and Nodafuji, and it seems like this week is the best time to see them in full bloom.
