In Japan, we have the Golden Week holiday period coming up, with some fortunate folks enjoying up to 10 consecutive days off, starting from this weekend.
How do you plan to spend your holiday?
Some may choose to relax at home, while others may have plans to visit places they've always wanted to go.
At Nakamura Tokichi Main Store Café, starting from April 27th, we'll be introducing limited-time menus gradually.
Each store will have different eating periods and unique limited menus, so let me introduce one of the menus from Nakamura Tokichi Shijo Store in Kyoto.
"Marutokori [Koicha-Guri]"
The first time you see this, you'll be surprised by its visual presentation.
It looks like a perfectly round dome. But do you know what it is?
It's shaved ice!
On the surface, you'll find a rich green tea Mont Blanc cream made with plenty of concentrated green tea and Japanese chestnuts.
The delicate sweetness of the chestnuts and the bitterness of the green tea enhance the deliciousness.
Scoop into the center with a spoon, and you'll find concentrated gyokuro ice cream and a unique, jelly-like texture of green tea jelly inside the shaved green tea ice.
It's like eating a cool cake.
