Silky Matcha Panna Cotta with Matcha Standard
Hello everyone 😊 This is Keko from the online team.
For warm afternoons or after-dinner treats,
a chilled dessert with the deep flavor of matcha can be just the thing.
Today, I’m sharing a recipe for Matcha Panna Cotta using our Matcha Standard.
Made exclusively from Kyoto-grown first flush tea leaves,
Matcha Standard offers a more defined umami and aroma—
perfect for those who appreciate the richer, more authentic taste of Uji matcha.
🍮 Matcha Panna Cotta Recipe (Serves 4)
Ingredients Whole milk – 110g Heavy cream – 110g Instant powdered gelatin – 2g (no need to pre-soak) Granulated sugar – 35g Matcha Standard – 7g |
Instructions
1)In a bowl, whisk together the matcha and sugar until smooth.
2)Warm the milk and cream in a saucepan until just below boiling.
3)Turn off the heat, add the gelatin, and stir to dissolve.
4)Strain into a bowl, then cool over an ice bath until cold.
5)Pour into cups and refrigerate until set (at least 2 hours).
Tip: Chill your serving cups in the fridge before use.
🍃 Optional Garnishes
A drizzle of matcha sauce (4g Matcha Standard + 45ml strong brewed tea)
Fresh fruits like berries, or a spoonful of sweetened red beans
This panna cotta has a rich, smooth texture and a flavor that lingers gently.
Matcha Standard brings out the authentic essence of Uji matcha—
a little bolder, a little deeper.
It’s a wonderful choice for those who enjoy matcha not just as a trend,
but as a tradition.
