The potential of Japanese tea, What Japanese tea can do.

The potential of Japanese tea, What Japanese tea can do.

Hello everyone,

I'm Keko from the online staff.

At our Nakamura Tokichi Azabudai store in Tokyo, I'd like to introduce a new addition to our TOGO menu that we recently launched:.
"Ujikin Soft [Jelly Style]".

It features matcha-flavored soft serve ice cream on top of green tea jelly.
It's served with azuki red bean paste and chewy shiratama mochi, and you can choose between two flavors of soft serve: matcha or matcha & hojicha.

Being able to enjoy soft serve ice cream in TOGO style is exclusive to Nakamura Tokichi Byodoin store and this Azabudai store.

Using Japanese tea in soft serve ice cream is now more common, but let's take a trip down memory lane to 1998, 26 years ago, at our main Nakamura Tokichi store. After years of experimentation, we created the "Ujikin Soft", where matcha soft serve ice cream is served in a waffle cone with red bean and shiratama topping.

While there's nothing quite like enjoying freshly brewed tea from a teapot, the tradition of brewing tea in a teapot has somewhat faded over time.
We want more people to appreciate the goodness of Japanese tea and explore its potential.
These sweets made with Japanese tea are born from a variety of thoughts and aspirations.

The potential of Japanese tea,
What Japanese tea can do.

We hope you'll enjoy these Japanese tea-infused sweets.
