Hello everyone, it's Keko from our online staff.
The season of new tea has arrived again this year.
We're offering two types of new tea at our store.
Let me introduce the differences between the two here.
First Tea of The Season [Matsu]
The ideal form of "Uji's First Tea of The Season."
Appearance: Slightly thicker with a shiny black surface, beautiful
Aroma: A scent that can only be found when picking young buds, typically with one central bud and two or three leaves.
The unique fresh aroma of new tea rises up, unmistakably the fragrance of Uji's new tea.
Taste: After the distinct umami and slight sweetness of sencha, an elegant bitterness spreads.
First Tea of The Season [Take]
Appearance: Slightly thicker and larger leaves compared to Matsu
Aroma: Strong and refreshing scent of new tea
Taste: Begins with the refreshing taste typical of sencha, its coolness and sharpness being its greatest charms, making you want to brew it repeatedly.
The new tea tea bags are made with New Tea [Take].
The quality of New Tea [Matsu] is such that its deliciousness and flavor are truly top-notch.
Its richness of flavor might make it hard for some to drink a lot at once.
Preferences vary from person to person.
Why not enjoy each according to the occasion?
