This was my first time trying Gyokuro as I typically drink sencha, and the tea is exquisite! I use a gaiwan to brew because I do not have a shiboridashi or hohin, and I have been experimenting with different brewing techniques and different water temperatures (between 60 and 80 degrees Celsius) and it is always amazing. The aroma is truly spectacular as well. I highly recommend this tea. It is a must try at least once in your life.

In love with this tea

So I purchased a 50g bag of Gyokuro Kosetsu and it may just have been one of the best decisions in my life. This tea is beyond amazing, yes there's umami and seaweed flavours, but also sweetness, even after resteeping the tea it is still wonderful. I drink a lot of green teas of various kinds, but this has to be one of the most beautiful flavours I have come across. Highly recommended. But it for yourself or a loved one who likes green tea. I'll definitely be coming back for more.
