I visited Uji in July 2025 and bought the Cold Brew Nagamura tea. Back in Thailand, I’ve been brewing it at home, keeping it chilled in the fridge. It’s incredibly refreshing in this hot weather, and I liked it so much that I had to order more online!
This matcha is very enjoyable to drink and I was very pleased with the quality. I wholeheartedly recommend jt for anyone who wants a good quality matcha for everyday drinking.

I went to Nakamura tokichi's cafe in person a couple months ago in Kyoto and loved the match. The 100 gram bag was perfect to order once I was back home and had run through all my matcha from Japan. Shipping was fast, match was fairly priced, and the quality of the drink is fantastic. It has a nice balanced flavor and is perfect for lattes (as a disclaimer I like to add agave to my drinks). It also pairs well with both oat milk and lactaid 2% in my experience. Overall great product and I plan on buying it again soon.
The quality and subtlety of even the beginners grade of matcha by Nakamura tokichi makes it hard to go to other matches. Worth the value and makes as a great gift for friends and family
