We had visited their Ginza cafe when we visited Tokyo in the summer. The matcha, shaved ice and other sweet treats we ordered were amazing. So glad we can order directly online! Loved this one, not bitter at all, makes great matcha and latte. Making my own matcha latte (without sugar) and slowly sipping it brings me so much joy!

I have been importing matcha from Nakamura Tokichi Honten for over a year, inspired by my son who started the tradition in our household of using matcha powder to concoct delicious drinks. We have it both hot and cold (summer days with ice and milk and cold days with only a little half-and-half). We are fortunate to be able to have these small cans around the house. We tried local matcha, but they all do not have such deep, potent flavor. They leave us wishing for the pulverized matcha tea Nakamura Tokichi Honten brings us. We are hoarders of this stuff!
