Taste wise, it was not too sweet and the hojicha had this really ‘refreshing’ toastiness and had a sweetness that leaned into a more caramel note.
Shipping was really fast, but I would be more careful in terms of pickup, as it unfortunately came it melted.
(There was no way for me to expect that it wouldn’t arrive melted anyway, though I expected for it to at least be insulated. I doubt the melting is avoidable, especially from where I live).
While the price point is a major setback for me, it was a nice treat for what it’s worth.
